About

In 1995, John took over the reigns of a company called G&H Interiors having trained at the KLC School of Design in London. Since then I have continued to learn curtain & roman blind making, traditional and modern upholstery and much more. Learning never stops… Ten years ago I decided to expand my knowledge base and learn about upholstery, starting with traditional skills and more recently in modern techniques. I have been lucky enough to train with some of the best, most talented & creative individuals and companies – starting in 1990 at KLC Design School to (more recently) Anthony Devine at Ministry of Upholstery in Manchester – the original upholstery guru from BBC1’s “Money for Nothing”

My extensive experience,  industry knowledge and ability to reassure have assisted in building long-standing working relationships with clients and companies alike.
